Gain an essential understanding of the standard of practice as it pertains to day-to-day business.

This course counts toward the Professional Conduct (PSC) required by OREC. The Code of Ethics was adopted in 1913 and contains 17 Articles in the Standard of Practice and is mandated training by the National Association of Realtors® for its members. Having a solid foundation of the Standard of Practice is essential to any day-to-day business practice. Real estate agents have an obligation to deal ethically with their clients and others in their day-to-day transactions and operations.

The Truth-in-Lending Closing Requirements (HOT)

An overview of the new TILA RESPA integrated disclosure (TRID) rule.

October 3, 2015 the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) made changes to the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms. This course will give the student an overview of the new TILA RESPA integrated disclosure (TRID) rule. The Loan Estimate form combines the elements of the Good Faith Estimate and the initial Truth-in-Lending disclosure into one easy to read disclosure form.

Section 605:10-3-6(l) of the Oklahoma Rules requires that real estate sales associates and broker associates to take at least one hour each in six required topics, and the remaining hours can be made up of elective hours or the “Broker In Charge” 15-hour course. NOTE: If you hold or have held a Broker Manager, Proprietor Broker or Branch Broker license during any portion of your current license term, you must take the “Broker In Charge” course. Fair Housing (FHR)
