Broker in Charge

An introduction to general licensing requirements, investigations, and management skills.

This real estate course is intended to satisfy part of the continuing education requirement for Oklahoma Broker licensees and other licensees who wish to meet their CE requirements. This course will introduce student to general licensing requirements, and then discusses broker responsibilities, supervision, place of business, advertising, disclosure requirements, trust accounts, investigations and management skills. Students will also get an opportunity to go over the statutes and rules of the Commission and other related federal laws relating to real estate.

TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures (HOT)

An overview of the changes made to the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms

October 3, 2015 the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) made changes to the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms. This six (6) hour course will give the student an overview of the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms and their changes. This course will take the student step-by-step through each stage of the CFPB forms. Being knowledgeable of CFPB form changes is vital to the agent as s/he conducts real estate. The CFPB example forms are also included to allow the student have exposure a real case situation.

OREC Contract Updates (CON)

An overview of the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission’s (OREC) contract form changes.

This three (3) hour course has been developed to give the student an overview of the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission’s (OREC) contract form changes that took effect on November 1, 2015. NAR Code of Ethics (PSC)

The Truth-in-Lending Closing Requirements (HOT)

An overview of the new TILA RESPA integrated disclosure (TRID) rule.

October 3, 2015 the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) made changes to the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms. This course will give the student an overview of the new TILA RESPA integrated disclosure (TRID) rule. The Loan Estimate form combines the elements of the Good Faith Estimate and the initial Truth-in-Lending disclosure into one easy to read disclosure form.
