Online Interactive
Course Instructions

First, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for pursuing your Real Estate education with Champions School of Real Estate®. We are proud to offer our students an Online Interactive delivery option and we understand this may lead to questions regarding the way the courses work. The information below covers many of the key processes related to taking courses via the Online Interactive method. If you have any questions, please contact us at your convenience.

What to Expect from the Online Interactive Method

Champions School of Real Estate® offers a convenient Online Interactive course format that includes timed modules, instructor-led videos and interactive activities. All components of these courses can be completed online and can be taken from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Students must pass all chapter quizzes before accessing the proctored course exam for Real Estate QE/SAE and Home Inspection core courses. Proctored exams can be scheduled and completed online using our ChampionsLIVE! Broadcast system or in a testing center at any one of our campus locations.

Please note - These courses do not use or follow any printed textbook materials.

Step 1 - Login to your ChampionsSchool.com account

From any page on the Champions website, you can click the 'Sign In / Create Account' button at the top right corner of your screen. Use your email address as your username and the password you created when creating your profile. If you registered over the phone or in person with a Career Counselor, you can log in using the email address you provided and the password they provided you. If you did not receive a password, you can contact us at your convenience.

Once you are logged in, you can access your course by selecting 'My Classes' from the Account Navigation and then clicking the 'Access Course' button next to the course you want to work on.

Step 2 - Complete all Interactive Modules & Chapter Quizzes
Online Interactive courses are composed of a series of timed chapter modules that include video lectures and interactive activities. After you have successfully completed a chapter module, the quiz for that chapter will unlock. A grade of 100% must be achieved on each quiz by answering three questions correctly. If you miss a question, a new question will be presented in its place until you have answered three correctly.
Step 3 - Schedule a Proctored Exam

Once you have successfully passed the chapter quizzes, you will be ready to take the proctored final exam. You have two options in regards to taking your exam:

  • You can take your exam from home by choosing 'Virtual Classroom' as your testing location (Webcam and Microphone Required) OR...
  • You can choose your local Champions campus as a testing location if you prefer to have your exam proctored in person. Please plan to show up a few minutes before your scheduled exam time so you can start your exam promptly. If you have a laptop or tablet that you wish to take your exam on, we encourage you to bring it with you.

To schedule an exam, navigate to the 'Exams' tab and then choose a campus location and an available date/time slot from the two dropdown menus. When you are satisfied with your selection, click the red 'Submit' button to complete the process. You will receive an email with additional instructions once your exam has been successfully scheduled.

Step 4 - Pass the Exam

At your scheduled time, click the link in your Proctored Exam email to connect to the virtual Proctor session and check in. You will be given 2-hours to complete the exam and you must remain on camera for the duration of your exam. If you do not finish the exam during that time, your exam will be graded based upon the questions that have been answered. Exam questions are delivered in sets of 10. To pass, you must receive a 70% or higher.

Proctor Session Attendance Policy - You are allowed one absence from a proctored exam session for a course. If you miss two proctored exam sessions for a course, you will be charged a $10 fee to re-access the exam for that course.

Exam Retakes (Real Estate 30-Hour Courses) - If you fail the first exam, you must wait three days before you can take the second exam. In the event that you do not pass the second exam, there is a $50.00 retake fee for the course to be reset.

Exam Timing - Per TREC rules, a 30-hour Qualifying Education (QE) or Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) course exam should not be accessed until the required amount of TREC course hours have been spent in the course. A TREC day is considered 12-hours, therefore a 30-hour course exam should not be accessed until 2.5 days after you have registered for any 30-hour course. If you have registered for multiple 30-hour courses, each subsequent exam should be 2.5 days after you finished the previous exam. We understand that this system can be somewhat confusing so if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Step 5 - Download Your Course Completion Certificate

Once you have passed the course exam, you will be able to download your course certificate from the My Classes page or in the 'Post-Class Documentation' section. Champions does NOT report this course electronically so you must email this certificate to TREC (documents@trec.texas.gov) to receive credit.
