Blended Classroom
Course Instructions

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for pursuing your Real Estate education with Champions School of Real Estate®! We are proud to offer our students the ability to complete their education using our unique Blended Classroom method. This method combines home-study and classroom instruction so that you can complete the required education you need quickly and efficiently while learning the ropes from Professionals with years of hands-on experience.

The information below covers many of the key processes related to taking courses via the Blended Classroom method. If you have any questions, please contact us at your convenience.

What to Expect from the Blended Classroom Method

Champions School of Real Estate® Blended Classroom courses combine home-study and instructor-led classroom with proctored quizzes and an exam. The classroom portion of the course is 15 hours and held over two days (or four evenings). The final (closed-book) exam is proctored and graded at the end of the last day in the classroom. Students are expected to also spend 15-hours studying the material independently of the classroom lessons. Students must attend all classroom hours and complete all chapter quizzes in order to take the final exam and complete the course.

Step 1 - Retrieve and Review Course Materials

Prior to the start of class, students will need to have reviewed their textbook and completed any chapter pre-tests or exercises found in the materials. Students are expected to spend at least fifteen hours studying the material independently of the scheduled lecture portion of the course, per TREC rules. A downloadable PDF textbook (if available) can be found in your online ChampionsSchool.com account along with any other required materials that are available digitally. When applicable, physical textbooks are included and can be shipped to you for an additional shipping fee or picked up at the campus free of charge.

Step 2 - Arrive Early on Day of Class

It is highly recommended that you aim to arrive for class 10-15 minutes early so that you have plenty of time to check-in and get settled before the lecture begins. When you arrive for class, your first stop will be at the front desk where a Career Counselor will be waiting to check you in and hand you any printed materials that you may need. The Career Counselor will direct you to the classroom and let you know where you can find the designated break area for complimentary refreshments. Please bring your photo ID when you check in.

Step 3 - Attend the Class

Students must attend all classroom hours and complete all required assignments (homework, quizzes, etc) in order to take the final exam and receive a certificate for the course.

What should I bring with me to class?

  • Photo ID (Drivers' License or Passport)
  • Highlighter
  • Basic calculator
  • Pen(s) (we provide pencils)
  • Notebook (if you like taking notes)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Face mask / Face shield (Optional)
Step 4 - Pass the Final Exam (Closed-Book)

The final exam is closed-book and is administered at the end of the final day in class. The exam must be passed with a 70% or higher to receive a certificate.

Exam Retakes - If you fail the first exam, you must wait three days before you can take the second exam. You will be given a different version of the exam on each attempt. In the event that you do not pass the second exam, there is a $50.00 retake fee for the course to be reset.

Exam Timing - Per TREC rules, a 30-hour Qualifying Education (QE) or Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) course exam should not be accessed until the required amount of TREC course hours have been spent in the course. If any portion of class is missed, the hours must be made up in our testing center prior to taking the Final Exam. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Step 5 - Receive Your Course Completion Certificate

Once you have passed the course exam, you will be able to download your course certificate from the Post-Class Documentation section of the Class Information screen. A printed copy will also be provided at the campus after you pass the exam. Champions does NOT report this course electronically so you must email this certificate to TREC (documents@trec.texas.gov) to receive credit.
