Certification
The Home Finance Resource certification is a specialized credential awarded by the National Association of REALTORS®. In the required 8-hour course, you will learn how to: lead buyers through loan prequalification, preapproval, and financing processes; implement Fair Housing practices and the NAR Code of Ethics; communicate market conditions to buyers; explain the different types of mortgage products, processes, and application requirements; and help homebuyers with low credit scores secure financing. This highly-specialized certification sets you apart from other buyer’s agents and indicates your expertise in home financing.

The Complete ABR Designation Program includes the required 15-hour Accredited Buyer’s Representative course and your choice of an approved 8-hour elective course. Together, these two courses will satisfy the education requirement of the ABR Designation.
Please note that some courses that satisfy the elective requirements of the ABR designation are not listed below (or included with the program) because they exceed 8 credit hours. These courses are indicated as ABR electives on their respective pages.
