Our Texas Real Estate Continuing Education (Formerly known as MCE) courses will ensure you stay current within the industry. To remain an active Sales Agent, all licensees must complete 18-hours of Continuing Education (CE) every two years including the required 4-hours of Legal Update I and 4-hours of Legal Update II. The Legal Update I and Legal Update II Continuing Education (CE) courses listed below are required by the Texas Real Estate Commission for anyone looking to renew their real estate license. The Broker Responsibility Continuing Education course is required for anyone who has sponsored one or more Sales Agents, served as the designated Broker for a business entity that sponsors Sales Agents, or has been made a supervisor of other license holders. Legal Update I (2026-2027)

This edition of Legal Update I covers water rights in Texas, including who owns and who regulates water in the state.
