Many parts across the world are experiencing an expanding outbreak of respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus, COVID-19. This virus can spread from person-to-person and the number of cases detected in the United States and many other countries is growing.

While the Texas Department of State Health Services is reporting additional cases of the novel coronavirus, COVID‑19, bringing the state total to 23, the immediate risk to the general public in Texas and the United States is currently considered to be low.

Precautionary Plan of Action

Champions School of Real Estate® has been closely monitoring the news and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines being communicated daily on COVID-19.

While no Champions School of Real Estate student, staff member or instructor has been diagnosed with COVID-19, our executive team has decided to take precautionary steps by closing our statewide brick-and-mortar campuses in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio for two weeks beginning Monday, March 16 and resuming on Monday, March 30. Any extension or changes to campuses reopening on this date will be announced no later than March 25. The announcement will be made on our website.

How does this affect you?

Scheduled Classes - All students registered to attend a class on campus during these two weeks will automatically be transferred to online. If online is not an option for you, you will have the following options:

  • Transfer your courses to ChampionsLive. Our ChampionsLive virtual classroom courses will go on as scheduled in our Champions School of Real Estate catalog. You will be required to have access to a computer, a webcam, audio on your computer, and reliable WiFi. Textbooks are printable from home.
  • Reschedule your classroom courses for a future date.

Counseling - It is important to note that while the campuses are closed, students will be able to contact the career counselors in your region via email or online chat Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please visit the Champions School of Real Estate website beginning at noon on Friday, March 13, for contact emails and Live Chat options.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Sponsors - All scheduled breakfast, lunch and dinner sponsorships will be canceled beginning Monday, March 16 and will resume on Monday, March 30. Please contact your local campus representative to re-schedule.

Shipments - No shipments will be sent out after Friday, March 13 until Monday, March 30. Most textbooks are available for print as a pdf you can download from your computer.
