MCE Requirements:
- Licensees must complete 15 hours of MCE courses including 3 hours of legal and 3 hours of ethics.
- MCE must be taken every 2 years after SAE requirements are satisfied.

Per TREC Rules, online-correspondence courses not completed before the end of the month your license expires will be considered late and the licensee will be subject to late fees and penalties.
September 24, 2008: As a result of Hurricane Ike, Real estate brokers, salespersons, home inspectors, and appraisers who live in these counties and were impacted by Hurricane Ike will have an additional four months to renew licenses expiring between September 30, 2008, and February 28, 2009.
