MCE Requirements:
- Licensees must complete 15 hours of MCE courses including 3 hours of legal and 3 hours of ethics.
- MCE must be taken every 2 years after SAE requirements are satisfied.
Online students must wait 24 hours after registration before the system will allow you to start the exam!
Per TREC Rules, online-correspondence courses not completed before the end of the month your license expires will be considered late and the licensee will be subject to late fees and penalties.
Background Check Fee for Renewals - All licensees who have been fingerprinted for TREC will eventually have to pay an additional fee for a subsequent background check when renewing their licenses. Licensees who were fingerprinted for a 2008 renewal, application or late renewal, and whose current license expiration is March 31, 2009 or thereafter, must pay the renewal fee and an additional fee (currently $19.25) for a subsequent background check to renew the license. Renewal fees will be returned to licensees who submit incorrect fee amounts and the license will expire if the correct amount is not timely received. Click Here for more Information.

This course is for any licensee who wants to learn more about the strides local homebuilders are making in energy-efficient residential construction. The course covers the science behind the walls of these efficient homes, as well as financially, marketing, advertising and selling points to incorporate into a sales professional’s daily business.
