Champions
Licensees must complete 90 total hours of Savings and Mortgage Lending Department Approved Education.
IMPORTANT! You CANNOT repeat a previously taken 30 hour course to get your Mortgage Broker License.
- 36 months of loan origination experience,
- AND
- 90 hours of Core classroom training, including 6 hours of Ethics if NOT previously licensed as a loan officer, OR
- 30 hours of Core classroom training, including 2 hours of Ethics if previously licensed as a loan officer.
- OR
- 18 months of loan origination and minimum bachelor's degree in either finance, bank, or business administration
- AND
- 90 hours of Core classroom training, including 6 hours of Ethics if NOT previously licensed as a loan officer, OR
- 30 hours of Core classroom training, including 2 hours of Ethics if previously licensed as a loan officer.
- OR
- Holds active Texas license as a Real Estate Broker, Attorney or General Lines Agent (Life, Accident, Health, & HMO; or Property & Casualty); Limited Lines Agent (Multiple Lines); or Managing General Agent
- AND
- 90 hours of Core classroom training, including 6 hours of Ethics if NOT previously licensed as a loan officer, OR
- 30 hours of Core classroom training, including 2 hours of Ethics if previously licensed as a loan officer.

" I just wanted to drop you a quick note expressing my experience at your Champions School of Real Estate in Round Rock. Geina and you were terrific in setting me up in my classes on such short notice. I attended the classes as I would call it, Mortgage 1 & 2, with Pat Patton as our instructor for the last two weeks.
