Women’s Council of Realtors names Rita Santamaria Business Woman of the Year
Texas Women's Council of Realtors® (WCR) presented Rita Santamaria with the distinguished 2007 Business Woman of the Year award on February 23rd. This award is given annually to those who uphold a standard of business excellence and are representative of the WCR vision and goals. Mrs. Santamaria has received several 2007 Business Woman of the Year awards from local chapters in addition to being the second recipient to receive this distinguished statewide award.
"Rita is one of the most deserving candidates I can think of to be honored with this award," Stated Becky Hill, 2008 National President-Elect for Women’s Council of REALTORS®. As the owner and president of Champions School of Real Estate®, as well as her many years of experience as a real estate broker and educator, Mrs. Santamaria has been a strong proponent of empowering today's real estate professionals with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to be successful entrepreneurs.
