SFR Designation

To help REALTORS® meet the needs of home buyers and sellers who need these services, NAR has launched a new Short Sales and Foreclosure Certification Program (SFR).

The SFR certification program is offered by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) of NAR . The program includes training on managing short sale, foreclosure, and real-estate owned transactions, and resources to keep current on national and state-specific information on the market for these distressed properties.

SFR designation students must also complete (three) 1-hour webinars available at www.realtorSFR.org and be an NAR member in good standing before submitting an application. The application fee is $175.
